The food was amazing, authentic and delicious. I had the tacos with shredded beef and the shredded beef was the best I've ever had. It was so tender and juicy, it made the tacos next level. My husband had the shrimp burrito and it was big and awesome. It was so nice finding such authentic Mexican food in town. We will definitely be going back. The service was also great!
The food at El Rancho is very delicious. Kind of has that home town feeling. Try the Margaritas too!

Ordered my food to go. Jen was very friendly and food came quickly. At first I thought it was a little pricy, but they gave me enough for two people! Ordered the Chile Verde plate. It was delicious and tender, but it wasn't spicy. Most people that can't handle the spicy heat would appreciate this. Since the flavor was so good, I went back in to ask them if they could turn up the heat next time I ordered it. They said yes .
My go to choice when I'm trying out a new Mexican restaurant is the Chile relleno. I've discovered that if I like the Chile relleno , I usually like everything else. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the best chile relleno I've eaten in Montana. I wasn't very hungry, so that's all I ordered. On a return visit about a week later, I ordered a combination plate with the Chile relleno , verde burrito, rice and refried beans. I liked everything, but it was a little on the mild side. I'm not a person who enjoys a lot of hot spice (truth: I am a wimp in that department) So if you enjoy spicy you'll have to add some sauce. And a friend told me that if you'd like spicy, you should see if they have green sauce that day. I will stop here again the next time I come through town.
